Here are 5 strategies to kickstart your organic growth:

  1. Serve Your Local Community First

Your biggest supporters in the beginning will be your local community. Nurture them and appreciate them.

  • Participate in local events or markets

  • Collaborate with other local businesses

  • Offer workshops or classes in your area

  • Posting in local group pages

My Tip: Create a "locals only" discount or special edition product. People love supporting home grown business!

  1. Attend Markets - Your Product Testing Ground

Markets are like real-world focus groups. They offer:

  • Instant feedback on your products

  • Networking opportunities with other creators

  • A chance to build a loyal customer base

My Tip: Don't just sell - observe. Which products draw the most attention? What questions do people ask? This intel is gold for your business strategy.

  1. Tell Your Story Through Your Work and Socials

People don't just buy products; they buy stories. Share yours:

  • Post behind-the-scenes content of your creative process

  • Share the inspiration behind your designs

  1. "Get Personal” Vlog your life on your weekends, show how you spend your down time, books your reading, places you visit. We all have a life out of “work” and your true fans love seeing everything you do in and out of your work.

  2. "5 Ways to Use [Your Product]": Get creative! Show unexpected ways to use your product or service. The more unique, the better chance of going viral.

  • Later: Great for scheduling posts and analysing your best posting times.

  • Canva: Create posts and videos with ease. Many templates and magic tools to use such as background remover and AI assistance.
